UPDATE TESTING & RACING AT LAKE ERIE SPEEDWAY
Lake Erie, PA ---
The Weber Farm Motorsport Team is at Lake Erie Speedway in Pennsylvania Monday and Tuesday for testing prior to the Sat., June 18 race event. This is a 3/8ths mile banked asphalt oval and has a rich history of Northeastern modified, truck and stock car racing.
Karl Weber will test the FARM JOURNAL Legacy Project Supported By Pioneer car at the track after having been rained out of the past three race events. Karl Weber said,”I’m ready to race and pretty tired of watching the rain come down while I sit in the trailer.”
Weber’s Team Manager and Coach Tony Blanchard said, “Karl is one of the fastest drivers I have coached but we need more actual race time with other cars on the track. I have no doubt that her will do well but all of the rain has delayed that opportunity.”

Media Giant’s Agricultural Industry Effort Helps American Family
Farms To Plan For Successful Transition From Parents To Children
May 14, 2011
Ambia, Indiana ---
The “Farm Journal Legacy Project Supported by Pioneer” logo will be on #50 Karl Weber’s race car for the 2011 Jeg’s All-Star Tour beginning at this weekend’s race at Illiana Speedway. The Legacy Project is an industry-wide effort which encourages succession-planning for family-owned farms across the US.
“I am honored to have the Legacy Project logo on my car”, said 14 year old Karl Weber, “because it is important to America that family-owned farms stay within the family, after all, I am a young farmer myself and want to continue what my family has created.”
Weber joins the JEG’s All-Star Tour as a Rookie after winning more than 7 Karting Championships in only 3 years of racing. The diminutive teen arrives at Illiana Speedway directly from the farm field after helping The Weber Farm by piloting a 15,000-pound John Deere Tractor as the family plants it’s Pioneer Hi-Bred corn and soybean seeds for the growing season.
About Legacy Project:
